It's been quiet on our Spore websites for a few months. That did have something to do with the fact that I also own SimsNetwork and SimsNetwerk. Those websites consume a lot of my free time, and that leaves less time for Spore. But the SNW websites have been changed, improved, which saves me more time. Now it's time for a new look on SporeNetwork. I cannot show a preview just yet, but I will post one soon.
When I write this down, thinking about the timezones, almost every one has had their New Years Eve.
So to all of you, members, moderators and admins, I send the BEST WISHES FOR 2006 and let's make this a JOLLY GOOD YEAR for SimsNetwork.

Official Sims 2 Holiday Giveaway Blooper

This year there will be another edition of de Awards for the celebrities in Belgium. During the awards, there will be a show filled with singing, dancing and entertainment. Do you want to be there? You can!
DeSims2.nl will give away 75 duo tickets for the show! So you can bring along a friend!
The only thing you have to do is enter on this page. From all the entries we will pick 75 people.

In a collaboration with EA Benelux, SNW will be handing out 30 duo tickets for the Sims Awards 2005 in Oostende, Belgium on October 20, 2005. Would you like to be there? You can bring a friend! Just go to our Sims Awards 2005 page and enter your name, username on SNW, your age, your mail address and tell us why we should pick you. Are you younger than 13? Then you should also enter the name and phone number of (one of) your parents. If this is the case, be sure to ask your parents for permission first!

As a reporter you're not just going to enjoy the Award show, but after the show, you will be going to the VIP party. There you will be in the same room with all the winners and other celebrities.
You are there with one special goal: to interview all the winners! As a reporter you will be writing a piece for DeSims2.nl, zo all the community members who can't go there, can still read about the event. The report will get a special spot on the frontpage. And you'll have this great memory of the evening.
Write a short piece in which you explain how you'll do your job as a reporter; which questions would you ask and would you have the courage to just interview all those celebrities?

Last year we all enjoyed the Glass Sims House. This year another edition of the real life Glass Sims House will take place. You can read about the plans here!
EA has built a really special house last year: a house of glass! This house inhabited an actual family for 4 days. This family experienced the life of a Sim during these days. The community participated in all of this by giving the family assignments.
This year there will be another glass house! Of course you will all have part in this and you can win great prizes.
